Walker's First Birthday
First of all, I just wanted to give you a little warning~LOTS of pictures BELOW! I just couldn't help myself. My sister takes the best pictures and I just couldn't choose, so I just went to town. They are all out of order, but if you scroll down to the bottom, you can get the gist sp? of our day. Walker's actual birthday is tomorrow, but we had his birthday party today. I decided to forgo a huge party and just have family. Len's mom, my parents, my sister and two of her kids came and we are so blessed and thankful that they drove all the way here just to make me and Len happy ;) We had a great time and it wasn't stressful at all. We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and I got Walker a cake from Publix with little polka dots on it. He loved the cake and was so cute eating it. I'm going to do another post tomorrow on his actual birthday with all the sappy little things about him and what he is doing right now. I've been such a slacker in the last few months with his monthly updates so hopefully I can make up for it. We love this little boy so much and can't imagine life without him.
Opening Presents
Helping Walker open his presents.
Walker is a full fledge "walker" now. He is everywhere. If you sit in front of him and hold out your arms and ask for a hug, he will come running and give the BIGGEST hug he possible can. My sister got a picture of him giving me one of those hugs. They just make me melt!

Walker's First Birthday
This was Walker's little smash cake. I forgot to get a picture of his real cake, but it looked just like this, only bigger.
I love his little scrunched up smile and the space between his two front teeth.
Walker with his proud mom and dad. We are so blessed to have such a charming, sweet little boy.

The Smash Cake
Walker was very serious about his smash cake. He put his fingers in it immediately and went to town. It was so cute.
Walker's First Birthday
We just had a family birthday party for Walker. We were so excited that Grandmama Nancy could come. Will was so excited to see her. I know I'm posting a lot of pictures but my sister took so many pictures I just couldn't narrow them down so bare with me!
Walker's First Birthday
Walker in his birthday outfit. My sister took these pictures. She is such a good photographer. She uses Picasa and I downloaded it tonight and it makes blogging SO much easier! They even have it for Macs now. My friend Melia made Walker this outfit. She makes the cutest clothes! You can check out her website here.

Walker's First Birthday
My dad playing "Ride a little horsey" with Walker. He loves this game.
We were so excited that Walker's oldest cousin Ford was able to come to his birthday party. He had to miss baseball practice to come and that is a BIG deal to him. It meant so much to me that he wanted to celebrate with us.
Me and my precious baby. I just can't believe he is 1!
