My Two Boys

Here are some pictures of my two sweet boys.  Will likes to hold Walker with the Boppy on his lap.  He calls it the floppy floppy and says get that floppy floppy.  Enjoy the posts because I know I won't be able to post as much once my parents leave.  Scroll down for two other new ones.  I just remembered one more hilarious story (at least it was to me).  Last night we were getting Will to bed.  He is sleeping with us while my parents are here.  I put Walker in the little cradle at the foot of our bed.  He started crying so I took him out and gave him to my mom.  When I got back Will asked, "Why did you take Walker out of his cage?"  I tried so hard not to laugh.  He thinks his cradle is a cage.  When I told my mom that story she said, maybe that's why he always hated his crib.  He felt like he was in a cage.

Going to the zoo with Sue Sue and Papa

My mom and dad took Will to the zoo today so they could have some one on one time with him and I could get some rest.  Of course, I ended up cleaning and organizing things.  I just can't seem to relax right now.  I'm just so glad I'm not pregnant anymore that I want to get things done that I didn't have the energy to do before.
They had a great time.  Dad said that Will was the typical little boy and wanted to climb on the rocks and pick up sticks the whole time.  He did enjoy the meerkats though.  They said every elementary school in N was there so it was crazy.  I'm not a huge fan of our zoo because it's more of a wildlife type park and it's hard to see the animals b/c they are so far away, but they had a great time and Will fell asleep before they even got out of the parking lot.

Coming home and a visit from Lauryn

Lauryn Semanchik came over to see Walker the other day.  You should have seen the look on her face when she saw him.  It was priceless.  She immediately said baby and then held up her own baby doll to show me that she had one too.   We didn't get a picture of her holding him b/c he was asleep pretty much the whole time but there will be plenty more times to come.
My sweet Walker asleep in the pack-n-play downstairs.  I love the way he puts his hands on his face.  We found some baby pictures of Len and he was doing the same thing in all the pictures.  We went for his weight check the other day and he had gained a whopping 1 oz.  Will weighed the exact amount at 5 days old too.  We go back next week for his two week check up so we'll see if he's put on anymore weight now that my milk has come in.  OUCH!

Will was so excited when he got home.  At first he said, "Is Aisson in dere?  I want to see Aisson."  It was so cute.  He wanted to hold Walker immediately.  He is such a good big brother.  He still wants to hold him but thankfully the newness has worn off a little bit.
Papa was so excited to get to meet Walker!  Notice that Will had to be right up there beside him.

In Love with Walker

We are in love with sweet baby Walker.  He is the most beautiful baby and we feel so blessed that God has given us another healthy baby boy.  I was so worried about loving another as much as I love Will and it was just instant.  We got home yesterday and the house is so quiet without Will.  I sure am missing him.  He is going to come back to Nashville with my dad tomorrow.  He was going to stay with my sister until Sunday but I thought it would be best for him to come on home and give Allison a break for a few days.  She is coming back on Sunday for a few days.  Allison asked Will if he wanted to go home and see his mama and daddy or stay with her and he said, "stay with aunt aisson"  That's what he calls her.  Walker is nursing and sleeping great.  He had a good night last night.  I'm doing much better.  My c-section was so much easier this time.  The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the MASSIVE swelling I would have after the surgery.  I think I gained 10 lbs of fluid after he was born but that is slowly getting better.  Dr. Myers wanted us to bring Walker in for a weight check on Thursday so I'm anxious to see how much weight he has put on.  He got down to 6 lbs 10 oz. in the hospital.  I just want him to stay tiny forever because I know how fast he will grow.  Thank you for all your prayers and sweet comments and for coming to see us in the hospital.  His birth was so special and we are so glad we got to share it with our family and friends.

A few more pictures from the hospital

Will is going to be a great big brother.  He is coming home tomorrow and we sure have missed him.  He loved giving Walker kisses in the hospital.

Bonding with Mama Sue in the hospital.
When we picked him up from the nursery Tuesday morning, he was sucking on his fingers like this.  I think they must have let him cry for awhile because he hasn't done it since.
Walker in his coming home daygown.  I don't think he likes it to much!
Happy to be leaving the hospital!!!
