Rainforest Cafe

We have a tradition of always going to the Rainforest Cafe when the Adcocks are in town. This is one of my oldest nephew Gage's favorite places to go when he comes here. The picture of Walker and Davis is their reaction when the rain and thunder started. Will is my brave one, not afraid of anything and I think Walker is going to be my more timid child. He was not so sure about this and grabbed onto Len.

Nashville Zoo

We went to the zoo on Saturday. It was cold, but got a little warmer as the day progressed. The boys had so much fun. They were standing on this rock and I asked them to give their best tiger growl and they growled SO loud. I think it scared several of the other people at the tiger cub exhibit. My sister-in-law Heather was pushing Walker and Truman and looked down and they were holding hands. It was so sweet that we, of course, had to stop everything and take a picture.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

On Friday night we had a great time dyeing Easter Eggs. Here are a few candids of our night.
(I don't know why this is the first picture on the post. Anyways, here I am with Davis. How adorable is he? We are kindred spirits because we are both middle children ;)

Adventure Science Center

These might be out of order. On Easter weekend, our cousins came from North Carolina. We HAD A BLAST!! We did so many fun things and if you can imagine 5 boys under the age of 7 under one roof, you will know how much fun we had. On Friday we went to the Adventure Science Center and it was SO crowded, but the boys loved it and climbed to the top of the tower and I tried to keep up with them. Whew, I was sweating like crazy. We were completely oblivious to the fact that there was a tornado watch until we tried to leave and the asked us to wait a few minutes. Yikes! We ate at SATCO for lunch and got drenched trying to get to and from the car, but it was so worth it for that cheese dip, YUM!

Spring Break~continued

I'm so behind on blogging that I don't have time to write. Here are a few pictures of our time in Montgomery for Spring Break.

Spring Break

These two cousins were excited to see each other again! We haven't seen each other since January and they are having a little spend the night party. Ann Welch was dying to spend the night~until it was time to go to sleep and she told me she was "just kidding" about wanting to spend the night. I was reading a book to them and I said, what do you have to have to buy something? I was looking for "money" as the answer and her answer was "buggy" She is such a cutie. We went to Copeland's baseball game and had a great time. Walker was very excited to have a ring pop and that kept him occupied. I never would have let Will have a ring pop when he was 11 months and I'm slowly realizing that things are MUCH different with the second child!

I've been a terrible blogger lately! I have a ton of things to update and I just haven't had time. One little almost 1 year old has been completely occupying my time! If he's not putting mulch in his mouth, he is climbing the outside of the stairs and getting stuck, or throwing all of my dish towels out on the floor, or unfolding the huge mounds of laundry that have just been folded. This kiddo is SO busy. I have to watch him every second!!! We are in Montgomery for a few days for Will's MDO "spring break" and then our cousins from North Carolina are coming at the end of the week. We are SO excited!!

Fun with the McInteers

We had a fun little playdate with our favorite McInteer boys the other day. Cash and Walker are exactly one week apart and they are so so cute together! I don't know about y'all, but in the wintertime it is so hard to find ways to get my little boy's energy out. There are not many options so we decided to head to Chik-Fil-A and play in the indoor playground to get wear these little boys out! I can't wait for spring. We will be outside every day as soon as it's pretty outside!

Enjoying a beautiful Valentine's Day

*Scroll down for another post.
Hugging on my baby. Do you love the new bangs! Those are compliments of having a baby, having my hair fall out, and having it grow back. My hair sticks straight up all around my hairline. It's so attractive!

I could seriously stare at this face ALL day long and never get tired of it. My heart could just burst with pride when I look at Walker's sweet face. He loves the swing and bounces and stiffens his legs and giggles the whole time he is in it. He loves watching our dog Ellie run around in front of him.

Will took this picture of me and my sweet Valentine. I truly love this man with all my heart!

Will loves picking weeds and giving me "flowers." He asked me to smell it and I said I couldn't smell anything and he told me it smelled like a rose.

Let's Go Fly a Kite

I loved watching Will's facial expressions while he was painting. If you know Will or have been around him, you know that he is full of expression.

We gave Will a kite in his Valentine's goody bag and we enjoyed trying to use it on this windy weather today. He also got a teddy bear and decided to name it Finner Dinner. He is really into making up words and it is so funny. One of his favorite "made up" words is "funker" and sometimes it sounds like another word. Whoops, if you ever hear him say it, don't mistake it for the other word. He has a stuffed cat that he has named Funker. He has really been into his stuffed animals lately. He calls them his baby and he takes care of them and even has to discipline them. He has a little tiger that looks like a beany baby and he took him to Kroger tonight. Kroger has the cutest miniature carts and that has made taking him to the grocery the best experience! I even like taking him to the grocery now. Anyways, back to his "baby." He informed me that baby tiger was yelling at the grocery so he got a spanking and had to go to his room with no dinner when we got home. I love this stage he is in. He is so imaginative and it is just so much fun! He also got a little Triceratops that he could paint (love the Target dollar section!) and there are pictures of his painted Triceratops.

Circus

On Sunday, we took Will and Walker to the circus. Will loved it and was still the whole time. He found a pair of old sunglasses in his pocket and wore them for the first part of the show. We were at the ticket booth buying our tickets when this couple came up to us and gave us 2 free tickets. They were right there on the floor so we had really good seats. We bought the ridiculous $12 cotton candy and snow cones but it was worth every minute. Will's favorite part was the elephants and I thought I was going to have a heart attack watching the trapeze artists without nets.

Will is so funny!

Will loves an audience and loves to make funny faces and do anything for a laugh. We have so much fun together. I just really understand him and his motive in everything he does because I am goofy just like he is. Do you ever feel that way about your child?

My Curious, Accident Prone Baby

Here are a few pictures of our week. The boys are really starting to play together and it just brings so much joy to my heart to watch them.

I love this picture of Walker and Len. I love how he has his hand wrapped around this finger.

This past week Walker has jumped out of his crib, gotten his thigh stuck in the crib, learned how to crawl up the stairs, gotten into the toilet (with his hands swishing the water), and taken a complete nose dive-front flip and landing on his back off his changing table. I feel like a terrible mother!!! Will never did anything like this! To say that I have to watch him every second is an understatement. He is so curious about everything. He is going to have so many bruises on his head. Will never even hardly had a scratch on his body as a baby and toddler. I can only remember 2 times that he has ever even had a bruise/black eye. He's never even scraped his knee, but I think things are going to be different with my little Walker.
On to my other child~ poo poo is his absolute favorite new word. He has said it at least 200 times today. When his says it, it sounds like pew pew. Sometimes I wish someone could record my life for a day. Fun times~but I wouldn't trade it for anything!!! One thing that Will said this week that was just the sweetest thing I think I've ever heard from him. I babysit my neighbors little girl a couple days a week and I was changing her diaper and Will said, Mommy does L have a heart? and I said, yes she does and he said, Mommy, is God in her heart? and I said, yes he is and he said, I'm so glad God is in her heart. It was just so sweet to hear his thoughts. I know I talk about Walker all the time (it seems) because he is doing new things constantly, but Will has the sweetest most caring heart and I just love him so much for it, even when he thanks God for "poo poo" and bottoms.
