Grandma Nancy
We have been doing good. It's been a busy couple of weeks and I haven't had time to post. Len's mom and her husband came to visit on Saturday and we had fun. Here are a few pictures of Will with his grandma Nancy.

Happy New Year
We had a great New Year's Eve and weekend with Len's brother Ward, Heather, Gage and Davis. Will was so sad to see them leave. He stared out the window and watched them drive away. It was so sad. We did lots of fun things. We always have so much fun when we're with the other Adcocks. Here are some pictures of our trip to Hendersonville to see Grandma Tommie and to Rainforest Cafe (even though I didn't really get very many good pictures inside the restaurant) and our New Year's Eve "party."

Christmas
Our Christmas vacation started out a little bit rough. Will got sick with RSV and then had a stomach bug. Then I got the stomach bug and then Len got it. We went on to give it to my sister, my nephew, mom and dad! We spent Christmas in Montgomery but Santa came to our house first. Will got a new train table and we thought he would love it because he loves the one at Davis Kidd and Pottery Barn Kids but he hasn't shown as much interest. "Santa" sat it up with the tracks just like the picture and Will tore all of it down. We had a great time in Montgomery even though everyone got sick. Will had so much fun playing with his cousins and he got to see his Uncle Edward. This was his first Christmas with us in three years. He's been in Iraq the last two years. Will got lots of fun toys to play with. His cousins gave him a shopping cart and he and Ann Welch fought over it. He loved Ann Welch and kept wanting to give her kisses and hug her. It was so cute. Here are a few pictures of Will over Christmas.

Ward, Heather, Gage and Davis are here for New Years. We've had so much fun. We went to visit Len's grandmom who is almost 97! She called all of her great grandchildren "its." We also went to the Rainforest Cafe and we will be celebrating New Year's Eve tonight. I'll post pictures of that when I upload them onto the computer. Will has had so much fun playing with Gage and Davis. He is going to be so sad when they leave and life is boring again.

Making a Gingerbread House
We went to a birthday party this morning and made gingerbread houses but Will kept eating everything when we would put it on the house! He had fun making it though. I don't think it would win any awards but it looked good to eat.

Breakfast with Santa
As you can see, Will didn't like getting his picture with Santa!

These are some of my friends from our Sunday school class.

Sitting in front of the tree
Trying to get a picture taken for your Christmas card is pretty much impossible if you have a busy toddler. I'm starting to realize that Will isn't as laid back as I originally thought. He will not sit still for a minute! He has already thrown and broken six of our ornaments (at least they're the cheap ones) and now we only have a half decorated tree because we had to move all the ornaments out of his reach. We have tried to take his Christmas picture so many times that it is starting to ruin our Christmas so if you think the picture we send is terrible, just know that our marriage was practically on the line when we were trying to get the picture. ha ha The picture doesn't have to be perfect, I just want one that captures Will the way I see him and we haven't been able to get one. Our camera has a delay and by the time Will does finally smile, the camera won't take.

We couldn't use this one because he's shooting the bird.

Trying to get a decent picture for our Christmas cards. This was over two weeks ago and we just got a picture today.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains
Ward and Heather (Len's brother and his wife) invited us to spend Thanksgiving with them at Lake Lure in North Carolina. It was beautiful there with the mountains surrounding the lake. The boys had a great time together. They haven't seen each other in almost a year and had so much fun. Will started thinking he was a little bit older than he is. It was so cute to watch them run around and play together. Will thought Gage was so funny and laughed at everything he did. We couldn't believe how much Davis had grown. He is very mischievious! He will be two in February and Gage just turned 4. We spent the days relaxing and eating, two of my favorite things! We had beautiful weather. It was sunny and in the mid 60's everyday. We went hiking and Will loved it. He just loves being outside and loved throwing rocks in the lake. Thanks for inviting us to come with y'all Ward and Heather. We can't wait to see you for New Years! Here are a few pictures of our weekend. Heather bought the boys matching pj's. They looked so cute in them.

Castles and Crowns
I'm the new rep for a clothing line called Castles and Crowns. If anyone reading my blog would like to host a party, it is a great way to get adorable smocked and appliqued clothes at half the cost! The website is www.castlesandcrowns.com and I'm available to host parties for the whole month of January. If you don't live in Nashville, but would be interested in hosting a party without the trunk of clothes, I could arrange that too. You can go to the website and click on host a party and you can email me if you would be interested. I have been the hostess for two seasons now and I can say without a doubt that these clothes are adorable! They are affordable too! They are less than boutique brands and other trunk show lines. Just email me if you are interested. I hope to make a great start in my first season as a rep.

Happy Birthday Dad!
We hope you have a great day today. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone how old you are. We love you very much and wish we could be there.

Happy Birthday to our nephew Gage!
Gage,
Happy Birthday! We love you very much and can't believe you are already 4! Four years ago today we waited by the phone anxiously for your arrival. You have been such a joy in our lives. You are a very special boy and we can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks! We hope you have the best time at your pirate party.

This is an older picture, but I just wanted everyone to see how cute my nephew is.

Happy 1st Birthday Ann Welch!
Happy Birthday to my sweet niece Ann Welch! I can't believe she's already a year old! She had a great birthday party along with Ford who turned 7 in October and her cousin Mary Reagan. It was at the Hilyer's farm and they had hayrides, sack races, pony rides and all kinds of fun things to do.
We had a very busy weekend. Len's mom came to Nashville Thursday night and kept Will on Friday. He had a great time with her and judging by the marshmallows stuck in his hair, he was a little spoiled that day! We left in a hurry to go to Montgomery on Friday. We were planning on heading to Auburn to watch the Faulkner/Auburn game (my dad helps coach for Faulkner's basketball team) and we were making great time until we hit the dreaded Birmingham downtown rush hour traffic. What a nightmare! We made it five miles in two hours. It would be a pain without a toddler, but it got downright nasty. We ended up having to take Will out of his seat on the interstate, which really didn't matter since we couldn't go over 5 miles an hour. What was supposed to be a 4 hour trip ended up being 6 hours and we were so disappointed to miss dad's game. I was so mad at the city of Birmingham. I mean, why would they shut down 2 lanes during Friday rush hour? We finally got to Montgomery and needless to say, I had two boys in a very bad mood!
On Saturday, we went to the birthday party and Will got to ride a horse for the first time! Thanks to Uncle David who took all the kids on horseback rides. He liked it until he saw me and Len and then he wanted down. On Saturday night, we went to the wedding of one of my best friends from Trinity. Emily looked beautiful and it was so much fun getting to see old friends and catch up on their lives. It was also fun for Len and I to get dressed up and actually get to go out ALONE!! We don't get the opportunity to often. Thanks to mom and dad for babysitting. They had a hard time getting Will to sleep but with the help of Bob the Builder and getting to snuggle with Papa in his bed, Will finally gave up the fight!
