Superman Boys

I loved these little matching superman tees I found at Old Navy and had to get a picture of the boys with them on. They are both "super" to me!

4th of July

These are the only pictures I took of our 4th of July. My dad called us on Thursday and said he wanted to come see the boys and we were happy to have a visitor. My throat started hurting really bad that night and I just dismissed it and felt a little better the next morning. It REALLY started hurting the next day and I started getting body aches and still didn't do anything about it. Len's was hurting really bad too but I thought it was just drainage. We went to the Lipscomb fireworks and had a great time, but after a ton of advil, it was still bothering me so the next morning, I went to a walk-in clinic and had a bad case of strep throat! Not fun at all! We still had a pretty good weekend despite the strep and Len and I both took antibiotics and started feeling better. The boys loved the fireworks and loved having their Papa in town.

Walker in a dress

This was from July! I'm working right now on getting my blog up to date. Walker came up to me one day with this shirt of mine and tried to put it over his head. So what does a mommy with two boys (who loves girls ;) do? I put it on him and let him wear it for awhile and had to take pictures of my "pretty boy" in a dress. It might be the only chance I'll get and he will probably kill me when he gets older for doing this to him.

I have been neglecting my blog so bad lately. I'm finally done with my Castles and Crowns parties so I have a life again!! I can still place orders until August 20th so this will be my last and final plug for Castles and Crowns! HA!
We have been busy celebrating the 4th of July with strep throat, planning and celebrating Will's 4th birthday and party (more to come) and just enjoying the summer. Walker turned 15 months on the 19th. Time flies with the 2nd child. He is as active as ever and had his 15 month check up on Tuesday. He weighs 24 lbs 8 oz 51% and is 32 1/4 inches tall 83%. He is actually taller than Will was at this age, but only by 1/4 of an inch. My small baby is catching up and growing like a weed!! He is such a joy and we absolutely adore him. Will is a joy most of the time and challenging as well. We are hoping 4 will be better than 3 and have come to the conclusion that he is just "ALL BOY"! I love that boy with all my heart. He is very smart and helps me so much with his brother. I don't know what I would do without him!!
Here are some videos I took this afternoon. I know there are 4, but I promise they will make you smile. I have never heard him laugh so hard or for so long. I don't know why he thought the tape measure was so funny, but the videos speak for themselves. Enjoy and hopefully I will be a better blogger then I have been lately!!

Lake

~LOTS OF NEW POSTS BELOW~ Playing catch up with the blog!

Last weekend we went to the lake with Matthew and Heather, Lance and Carrie and the kids. We went to Matthew's parents new lake house and it is SO beautiful!! Melinda did a fabulous job picking out everything for the house. I could just live at the lake. I grew up going alot with friends from Montgomery and my aunt and uncle live on the lake so I always enjoy everything about it. I love the sounds, the smells, the wind blowing on my face in the boat, relaxing and just everything about it. No computer, internet, cell phones or TV made for a very relaxing time just focusing on friends and family and enjoying being together. We grilled steaks, made waffles on the waffle iron, had a picnic on the boat (thanks Carrie), ate more, napped, played on the deck, soaked in the sun and had a blast. The boys LOVED the water and playing with each other.

Walker loves the water. He is such a water baby. He loved being on his back and when I told him to kick, he would just kick his little legs and go back. It was one of those moments that I will put in my memory forever. I can't explain it or describe it, I just know that I will always remember the way he kicked when I said kick, kick, kick. I love my boys so much it hurts.

I decided to return to my adventurous side and go tubing (insert sarcasm) HA! I have become such an old fogie since becoming a mom and I'm not quite as daring as I used to be. Two torn ACL's and I DO NOT want to go through that again so I'm a little hestitant to do things that might bring on an injury. Matthew drove slow at my request and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Heather and I just talked and talked the whole time we were riding.

Thank you McInteers for a wonderful weekend full of fun!

Lake

Will loved "tubing" (that's what I've always called it. He couldn't get enough and wanted to go over and over. I won't lie and say I wasn't nervous. It was hard for me to watch and I had small anxiety attacks everytime he was out there.

Matthew was so sweet and patient to let Will drive the boat. He keeps saying that he wants to go back to the lake.

Having fun with buddy Brooks.

Having fun!

My adorable baby boy.

Cash and Walker were so exhausted that they fell asleep just like this and slept for a good while through all kinds of noise and people leaning over them. Don't worry, we slathered them with tons of sunscreen.

Shogun

Len coached Will's fall soccer team and as a gift they gave us gift certificates to a couple of restaurants, one of which was Shogun. We decided that it would be fun to take the boys the other night. Will loved it but Walker, not so much. He didn't want to sit in his high chair and nothing would keep him occupied. All he wanted to do was fish ice out of my water and splash me with the straw. We made him sit in his high chair until the chef did his little fire thing. As soon as the fire ignited, he was scared to death and burst into tears.
This is the picture of his face after the fire, right before he started bawling. Poor little guy.

Will loved the whole experience and was so well behaved. He played with his little umbrella and ate with chopsticks. We were so proud of him. Everything was wonderful until I took the boys out to the car while Len paid. While I was strapping Walker into his carseat, Will slipped out of the car with a toothpick in his mouth and scraped up his chin and face a little bit. I was so worried that the toothpick had gone through his tongue or something and I ran as fast as I could around to the other side. He toothpick broke when he fell, but it cut his lip. I was able to wipe away the blood before he saw it and bought him a gumball from the machine and it was all better.

We left with a warm fuzzy feeling. It was a great night!

5 Adcock boys

Ward, Heather and the boys spent the night with us on the way to a wedding and on the way back. It was a wild time, but we had so much fun! Will keeps asking when he is going to get to see his cousins again. We played outside in the sprinkler, baby pool and sandbox, watched movies, tattletaled on each other alot and had lots of laughs with Ward and Heather. We were planning to go to NC for the 4th of July, but have to much going on so we are going to plan another trip in between Len's school. He is going back to school and is a little stressed about getting everything done. He works so hard at his job, is a realtor on the side, does freelance work as much as possible and is going back to school and helps with the kids all the time. I don't know how he does it all, but I'm really proud of how hard he works for us. He takes such good care of us!!
Will and Gage having fun on the trampoline.

I was so excited to get a good picture of all the cousins looking at the camera! Do you know how hard that is with five boys, especially on a mini trampoline?

Walker and Truman

Our cousins came to visit on their way to a wedding. Here are a few pictures of Walker and Truman playing. Tru was born in December and Walker in April so it is fun to have cousins so close in age. Tru is such a cutie with a wonderful head full of blond curls.

I found this mini trampoline at a garage sale for $10 a few weeks ago. It has been a huge hit with the boys and they love jumping on it.

Catch up time

When we were in Montgomery we went to see my best friend Emily and her little boy Pierce. They are 3 weeks apart. We didn't plan their matching outfits. They had a ball playing together. I miss her so much!

Walker in full mohawk syle (with the little hair he has).

We love to play "funny hair" when we are in the tub. Here is Will's mohawk.
