I just couldn't resist posting this picture. No matter where we put Walker in the bed, he always scoots up to the top or the corner. There is nothing sweeter than watching a sleeping baby, especially when it's your own. Will didn't have a nap today and I knew he was very tired tonight. I asked him if I could rock him like I used to (haven't done this in at least a year) and he let me and I sang this song I always sang to him and he fell asleep and it felt so good to hold my big baby. It makes me happy and sad at the same time that he is growing up. I'm cherishing every minute with Walker because I know the baby stage is so short. I'm already trying to convince Len that we need a third baby sooner than later ;)

Updates below!
Trying to get a decent Sunday picture is hard work around here!
If we get one to smile, the other isn't. These two boys LOVE each other so much!
I had a party the other night and Len got the boys to bed. When I went in to get Walker in the morning, this is what Len put on him. It made me laugh. Not that it matters that he has 4 different color stripes going on, but I wouldn't have put him in this. I don't know where he gets these combinations. I wouldn't trade him for anything though~
Having fun on the floor. I love my boys!!!
Baby Bible Presentation
We had our Baby Bible Presentation at church last month. Our church does this two or three times a year and we walked in as a family and Walker received his first Bible. It is such a special time knowing that the members of our congregation are agreeing to pray for our child and help his spiritual walk through life. All of the families with new babies stand in front of the church as they pray for us. At the time, I was thinking that they really needed to pray that we wouldn't strangle Will because he was making a gun with his hands and saying pow pow pow to the church. Walker started crying and I finally had to walk out. I guess that is how memories are made!

Walker is 3 months
I could just eat this baby up!!! He is so good and such a joy!!! Check out the double chin!
I know I haven't posted in awhile. I've been so busy doing my Castles and Crowns shows. They are almost over! I have tons of pictures but have yet to upload them so I will do that later.
At 3 months Walker.....
is sleeping through the night!!! If you know my first child, you will know that this is a miracle!!!! We love the paci!!!! Can you sense my excitement?? His latest night stats are 7:30 to 6:30.
is ADORABLE!!!
is wanting to stand up all the time. (Just like his brother, who walked at 10 1/2 months..yikes) I had to bring out the exersaucer for him and he loves it.
likes the bumbo but kind of looks all squished and uncomfortable in there.
weighs around 16 lbs according to my scales.
laughs and is starting to squeal and "talk" to us.
loves the bath and had his first pool experience yesterday and loved it.
still hates his car seat and cries the whole time he is in it unless he is just exhausted.
makes me incredibly happy!
loves to smile and coo at Len.
stares at everything Will does.
is drooling a ton and is quite the spit upper. I get doused at least 5 times a day.
is starting to reach for things but can't quite get his hands to grab things. When he is in his exersaucer it is like he is trying to telepathically touch the toys. That sounds awful but it's really funny. He tries so hard to move his arms up to get the toys but he's not quite strong enough yet.
is a joy to our family and very loved by all! Will is very sweet to him and very protective.
In Will news...
the potty training is still a work in progress. We had it down and the surgery just sent us backwards a little bit in the #2 department if you know what I mean.
He is saying the funniest things lately, the kind of things that are only funny to me and Len, because of the situation.
He is such a lovable child. He still remains very active and busy and can be quite annoying at times, but he's so much easier to reason with and we have such great conversations. Do you ever start to see yourself in your children? I'm starting to see myself in Will and I think that is why I get frustrated with him at times. Does this make sense??
I "interviewed" him last night when we were going to bed and asked him all of his favorites. He said his favorite color was blue and so was Mr. Walt's (our preacher who is also Will's sunday school teacher). His favorite animal right now is an elephant and a hippo and his favorite car is Chick Hicks.
A few nights ago, we got Chinese take out and they gave us three fortune cookies. I wasn't going to eat mine but I wanted to read my fortune (we need some good fortune around here! ha ha). I asked Len and Will where my fortune cookie was and Will got this look on his face like he was thinking and he said, I fink it's in my mouf. It was really funny to us. Will also ran around all day yesterday saying "Walker is the ship" which sounded like something else!! We have this on video so maybe I can get it on here if my video will ever work. Hopefully I will post pictures soon!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Will !!!!!!!
We had a Wall-E birthday. That is Will's latest obsession after we went to see the movie last week. He got a Wall-E robot from us and he slept with it and hasn't put it down. It's a cute movie if you haven't gone to see it yet.

Day 3
Day 3 has not been the greatest. I really can't complain but he did so well the first two days that I thought he would do okay today. Len woke up in the middle of the night with a stomach virus so that added to the drama! We still can't get Will to take his pain medicine and he was crying alot today because his throat hurt so bad. He spits his medicine out including the antibiotic. I've been trying all kinds of ways to get him to take his meds. I mixed them in ice cream, forced it down his throat, mixed it in his drink and nothing seems to work. I even bought the chewable Tylenol and put it in a pack of those little Valentines hearts and that worked but now I'm out of that candy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Update
This morning has been great! Will finally decided to take his medicine if we would let him watch Tom and Jerry. He is happy and hasn't even complained about his throat. We are going to head back to Nashville sometime today. It has been fun in Montgomery but it will feel so good to get home. I've been gone for 12 days.

Tonsils and Adenoids are GONE!
To make a long story short, we have had an appointment with an ENT in Nashville for over 3 months. They wanted to do a sleep study and I was 9 months pregnant at the time and we just couldn't get there. My mom suggested we just take Will to the Dr. that took out my tonsils and who is a friend of my mom's. He saw Will on Thursday and said that Will's tonsils were huge and touching. We have had issues with his sleeping and a few tonsil infections along with strep. He said we could wait but he could also fit us into the schedule on Monday. We had to make a quick decision and decided it would be best to just go ahead and get it over with. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Will was so hungry this morning and that was the hardest part before the surgery. They gave him something called Versed which calmed him down alot. It was sad b/c he was just stumbling around. My mom is a CRNA at the hospital so he got a little extra TLC from the Anesthesiologist. They gave him lots of toys and let him walk around all around before his surgery. They also gave him a little Dr. hat and mask to play with. When they called us back to recovery, I could hear Will crying really hard and he was inconsolable. It really shook me up. He was trying to rip his IV out of his arm. He was okay after we gave him a popsicle and he ended up eating three and drinking lots of Sprite. I thought he would sleep all day but he only slept about an hour. He has been a daddy's boy today! Len really has a way with him and was the only one who was able to calm him down. We are doing okay. Will is refusing to take his pain medicine and we have to hold him down and he tries to spit it out. Please say a little prayer that tomorrow will be better on my poor little guy. His voice is the cutest little raspy sound.
Before the surgery with Sue Sue (my mom)
Len and Will showing their matching bracelets and Will's hospital gown.
Here is the hat that Dr. Ware gave him. He was a God send!
The whole family in the recovery room. Will could barely keep his eyes open but he continued to eat popsicles.
Still trying to eat his popsicle. He was SO hungry.
Finally asleep with daddy. I have to say that I am so lucky to have a husband that cares so much for his children. He is so dedicated to being a good father and spending time with Will and our family. He would rather be with us than anywhere else and I'm so thankful for that. He has such a special bond with Will and he knows how to calm him down when he is upset.
This was later this afternoon. I was able to get away to Target and get him an Icee. Dr. Ware gave him this green football wristband and he still has it on. He is sleeping soundly right now, but I am not! I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to wake him up when it's time for his medicine. I'm also very anxious about what the morning will be like.
A few more Montgomery pics
Here is a picture of Will pitching a gigantic fit! I will have to show him what he put me through when he gets older:)
Having fun with me-elch!
Montgomery
We've been in Montgomery this week visiting my parents and our cousins. It has been so much fun with the exception of Will vomiting ALL OVER me and my mom on Friday morning. Ann Welch and Will have had their share of arguments. It is so funny to see them fight but exhausting keeping them from hitting, screaming, pushing and poking each other! Will loves her so much that he just wants her attention ALL the time and will do anything to get it.
He calls her me-elch.
I made homemade chocolate chip cookies one day and got a picture of them eating together.
This is ONE SPOILED BABY!! He does not like to be put down-EVER!! How can you say no to a face like that. We are going to have some serious problems when we get back home.
Cousins on the couch.
See the big boy underwear!! We are now potty trained!!
We went to Ford's baseball game and it was fun until Will had diarrhea twice. Heat+getting over a stomach virus (I thought he was over it) does not make for a great combination. After two outfits, I announced to my parents that we just HAD to go home that minute. We didn't even get to see Ford pitch. It was awful. I had to strip Will down in the bathroom at the ball park and put him in the sink in there. Sometimes I feel like the joke is on me. Where is the camera?? ha ha

Sister's photo shoot
My sister did a little photo shoot of the boys while we were in our hotel room. She did such a good job and I love them and can't wait to order some!
